Event Description

Join NEWIEE’s Boston Chapter to learn about the technology of carbon capture and sequester and upcoming carbon capture incentives. Joining will be two expert panel members:

  • Dr. Jennifer Wilcox is the James H. Manning Chaired Professor of Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
  • Dr. Howard J. Herzog is a Senior Research Engineer in the MIT Energy Initiative.

 Facilitator: Denny Dart, NEWIEE member. She is an environmental engineer with 30 years of regulatory experience.

Carbon capture and sequester will be a necessary part of tackling climate change if we are to meet the critical target of 1.5 to 2 degrees C above pre-industrial levels.
