Event Description

USGBC Northern California monthly meeting from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Covo in San Francisco's SOMA district. This month's Connect we bring together members from USGBC and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

ULI is a research and education institute with a mission to create thriving and sustaining communities worldwide. ULI San Francisco convenes multisector stakeholders in the land use industry address the Bay Area’s most pressing land use issues, including the housing supply and affordability crisis and the creation a more resilient region.

      Michelle Malanca Frey, Executive Director of ULI San Francisco
      She is the Executive Director of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) San Francisco District Council, the region's preeminent land use and development organization. She previously served as Co-Chair of the organization's Sustainability Committee.

      Her work has included the development of green building rating systems in several countries and the integration of sustainability initiatives and performance requirements into large-scale development projects and real estate portfolios.

      He has been the executive director for the Northern California Chapter of the USGBC for more than 2 years and is transforming the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
