Event Description

Are you interested in drawing, architecture, engineering, design or building? Do you like beating challenges? Are you between the ages of 9 and 13? Join Chicago Mobile Makers for Maker Challenge: Sustainable Dream Home. Design, draw and build your dream home using wind turbines, solar panels, water harvesting and urban farming. Each student will take home their dream home and earn a reward after completing this challenge.
Chicago Mobile Makers is a nonprofit organization in Chicago, Illinois that offers free and low-cost youth workshops encompassing design, architecture, digital fabrication, basic construction and place-making in Chicago communities.

    • Free parking is available in our parking lot in designated RX parking spots between 9am and 6pm on weekdays. On evenings after 6pm and on weekends, you are welcome to park anywhere in our lot. There is also street parking in front of the building on Webster.
