Living Future 2021, Inclusion and Unity
Event Description

Now in its 15th year, the Living Future "Unconference" continues as a mission-driven nonprofit event and has grown into the International Living Future Institute's flagship event and a leading global event especially for resilient design professionals working toward ecologically restorative, socially just, and culturally rich communities. Attendees who might plan to come for the technical experties found in educational sessions often leave with lifelong friendships and professional connections that leverage the transformation the built environment.

We see firsthand the threats of the continued warming of the earth’s atmosphere from burning fossil fuels as well as the rapid depletion and degradation of our natural world. Now more than ever, the Living Future unConference is needed--is mandatory in these critical and time-sensitive years. Fortunately, the spirit of the inaugural conference remains the same: We believe there is a solution, and our goals remain intact and achievable: we convene this event to allow you to learn from this community, connect deeply with others, and to push yourselves to change the status quo though bold, visionary transformation.

The Living Future community is a unique and made up of practitioners, alligned nonprofits, educators, developers, manufacturers, builders, architects, sustainability professionals, artists, and individuals spanning all industries--all devoted to deep green sustainability and creating transformative and scalable impact. These visionary leaders, committed manufactuers, and passionate individuals convene at Living Future  to explore opportunities, expand their vision, and to create collaboratively with one another toward the goal: to be part of the solution.
