Live Green Building Tour (Online): Slashing Carbon, One Green Building at a Time
Event Description

Did you know that our built environment is responsible for 39% of U.S. carbon emissions? The good news is that there have been recent breakthroughs in building performance, realtors who can assess the value of high-efficiency building elements, and even financing for sustainably-built real estate. All of these together can deeply reduce our buildings’ carbon footprint.

In this live tour, expert Craig Foley will demonstrate breakthroughs in building technology within a new high-performance home project in Boston. These new approaches can dramatically lower home carbon emissions.

  • Speakers / Presenters
    • Craig Foley, the Chief Sustainability Officer at LAER Realty in Lexington, MA, will be in conversation with CCL Chicago member George Tully, who has created the CCL Real Estate Climate Declaration.
