A demonstration at Senator Ed Markey’s office at Government Center, Boston, to ask him to reject the climate denying cabinet nominees.

While Rate It Green prefers positive planetary dialogue and a firm but respectful message, it's pretty clear that these cabinet picks can't safely stand for the environment. So let's get out there and make the case to protect people and planet. Let's be counted as those who are "FOR" the environment.

The Day Against Denial has ben panned to address the following cabinet picks of great concern (hard to comprehend, to be honest):

- Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon, for Secretary of State
- Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator
- Ex-Gov. Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy
- Rep. Ryan Zinke for Department of Interior

The climate is changing, and anyone who denies this shouldn't be in a position of leadership, no less the US Presidential Cabinet. It's up to the Senate to stop these nominations -- and up to us to show up in person.

That starts with rallies with all of our friends and neighbors, calling out our Senators to do the right thing and reject these nominations, and having direct conversation with the Senator’s staff to pass along the message that we, as constituents and voters, do not accept dangerous nominations.
