Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Greenbuild 2021, Virtual Resilience Summit, August 26
Event Description
The green building movement is scaling up from buildings to communities to cities. Environmental, social, and economic shocks and stressors have the biggest systemic impacts on the most vulnerable of communities and severe weather events are more frequent and intense due to climate change. Disruptions and stressors are becoming a common concern among city officials, building professionals, and residents alike.
We know that more sustainable spaces are the cornerstone to enhancing community resilience at scale and that elevating equity is the landmark strategy in building resilience within the lives of people, their communities, and infrastructure. This summit will convene attendees who are ready to meet community challenges, focus on resilient and equitable outcomes and become fully committed to driving a new way forward.
