Achieving Super Tight Air Sealing Targets for New Construction, Retrofits, and Passive House, Free and Online, August 29, 9-12 pm
Event Description
Air sealing has emerged as the number one technique to help make our buildings more energy efficient, achieve unprecedented indoor thermal comfort, and produce clean and fresh indoor air control. This session will show the entire air sealing process of a new structure from the ground up or achieving very airtight assemblies in remodels and additions or the compulsory air tightness for Passive House.
The objective of this course is that at the conclusion, participants will be able to:

Terry Nordbye, Air Sealing Solutions, has been a general building contractor for 40 years. In 2010, he built California’s first new construction Passive House for CLAM: an affordable housing association. He now consults with architects, designers, and contractors and builders, on how to achieve high performance buildings with Zero Net Energy targets. He specializes in retrofit, extreme air sealing, using no to low VOC materials.
