Free GreenCE Design and Construction Webinar: Protect, Enhance and Maintain Glass with a High-Performance Glass Coating, May 3
Event Description

During this webinar, They will evaluate protective coatings as a solution for many common problems encountered during the life-cycle of a building. Some of the easily recognized benefits of a low maintenance coating include a decrease in environmental damage to exterior glazing, reduction in building maintenance costs, improved photovoltaic performance, and enhancement of the forward-facing aesthetic. Additionally, they will explore a variety of applications, from shower enclosures, residential windows to exterior glazing, while simultaneously explaining the operational, environmental and inherent benefits to this technology. The course will conclude with an evaluation of how protective coating can help the building achieve LEED v4 certification.

Learning Objectives:

- Describe the cost savings and environmental benefits of easy-to clean protective coating

- List the operational impacts for commercial interior and exterior glass treated with low maintenance protective coatings

- Assess how the use of protective coatings can contribute to LEED v4 BD+C credits

- Identify problems resulting from environmental damage to glazing
