Event Description

This course will discuss the benefits of stone wool insulation in below grade applications. With different options of foundation styles, basements, crawlspaces and slab on grade, there is many different ways to insulate in a sustainable manner that will reduce one of the homes largest areas for energy loss. Concrete being only an R1 per foot needs insulation so your homes foundation system doesn't act as a heatsink in the ground.

This webinar will discuss the benefits of where to insulate for both new and existing homes and what to look for when designing your foundation system.

Bonus: How does this connect with LEED and Passive House
