Event Description

Elevate Energy released a first-of-its-kind, Midwest focused, appraiser-led analysis, Realizing the Value: An Appraiser-Led Analysis of the High-Performing Home Premium in Leading Midwest Markets. To date, there has been no other appraiser-led research to investigate the potential of a high-performing premium in the Midwest.

“Realizing the Value” shows evidence of a premium for high-performing homes, and assesses the visibility of high-performing home verifications and features in local MLSs in four Midwestern metropolitan areas.

Attendees of this session will learn about results from the analysis and the steps that Multiple Listing Services, appraisers, real estate agents, and clean energy professionals can take to ensure high-performing homes and their features are properly valued at the time of sale. Attendees will also learn about the high-level findings from recent homebuyer and real estate agent focus groups and how those findings tie in to the results from the analysis.
