Climate Change, Fossil Free Fast
Event Description

What can I do to protect our environment in 2018? How do I keep up the fight for climate justice? How can my town or city still make progress?

If you're asking these questions, you're not alone. All across the country, there are millions who are looking for ways to stand up for our climate and communities.

On January 31, the day after the State of the Union, 350.org will come together for Fossil Free Fast: The Climate Resistance. Check out this short video below to learn more about this event -- then sign up to attend (or host) a watch party in your area.

This is a plan that's been developed alongside hundreds of national partners, local 350.org groups, activists, thinkers, and leaders who are part of this movement. This is a plan that can help make progress today, and set the stage for even bigger wins in the future.

That's why instead of just sending it out to you in an email (or a tweet) we're hosting a big, nationwide event called Fossil Free Fast on January 31st. We'll be broadcasting live from a theater in Washington, D.C. with a star-studded show of movement leaders including Bill McKibben, Bernie Sanders, Cherri Foytlin, Varshini Prakash, Rev Yearwood, Jacqueline Patterson, and more.

Together, let's usher in the fast and just transition to 100% renewable energy for all

Fossil Free Fast is suggesting that people get together with friends and family to tune in and take part in this event.
