European energy and climate policy in the new global context

Europe has set its own ambitious targets for energy and climate change, pushed ahead with the expansion of the energy market, and has set up a carbon trading scheme with the European Trading Scheme (ETS). However, the different national interests within and outside the European Union are constantly challenging the common energy and climate policy.

What are the energy policy plans the new governments in Great Britain, France and Germany following the elections? What are the impetus for the COP 23 in Bonn to further promote the Paris Climate Agreement? And what is the contribution of other large countries to support a sustainable global transformation of energy systems?

This and more, we want to discuss with you and experts from all over the world a few days after the end of the COP 23. We look forward to seeing you and our energy day 2017 on 21 November 2017 in the
