Energy Analysis, Online Training with cove.tool
Event Description

Research highlights the benefit of running a whole building energy analysis in a wide array of areas including reducing costs, improving a project’s marketability, and fighting climate change. In this presentation, we will learn what an energy analysis is, methods of calculating and iterating designs through energy modeling, key metrics and inputs to optimize for maximum efficiency, and more. By calculating the energy, a building consumes annually, architects can better pinpoint areas to leverage for the best outcome. We will also discuss the decision-making power that early-stage energy analysis can make, while also showcasing savings in construction and operational costs, carbon emissions, and occupant experience.
