Congress for the New Urbanism, CNU26, May 16 - 19, Savannah, Georgia
Event Description

From its historic squares and narrow streets to the vibrant culture of its coastal Georgia surroundings, the city of Savannah exemplifies great urbanism and design.Yet Savannah and its region face their own challenges—protecting its character, addressing inequality, adapting to a changing climate.

For its 26th annual Congress, CNU invites you to explore all of Savannah, Georgia—a fascinating American place, from its world-famous historic core to its fast-changing outer reaches, that demonstrates the value of excellence in urbanism.

From regional-scale visions to single-building historic renovations, CNU members engage in the full range of activities needed to build places people love. We are the planners, designers, developers, engineers, public outreach specialists, local municipal officials, and inspired stakeholders.

As in years past, CNU 26.Savannah will offer continuing education credits for architects (via the American Institute of Architects / AIA), planners (AICP, through the American Planner Association/ APA), and CNU Accreditated (CNU-A) professionals.
