Event Description

Phius (Passive House Institute US) established the CPHC program in 2008 to distinguish accomplished passive building professionals in the marketplace. Phius has trained more than 3000 professionals to date. CPHC ® is a registered certification mark of Phius (Passive House Institute US) used with permission.

CPHCs learn to design to the Phius Certification climate-specific building standard, the leading passive building certification in North America. Projects earning Phius certifications (Phius CORE, Phius ZERO and Phius REVIVE) follow RESNET QA/QC protocols and achieve excellent HERS scores, US Department of Energy Zero Energy Ready Home status, and adhere to EPA indoor airPLUS requirements.

In addition to the course, trainees will also receive 12 months access to over 40 hours of pre-recorded videos and additional training materials.  Trainees who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the certification exam.

      The training Includes a Phase I & Phase II and will take 6 – 8 weeks to complete in total.
