Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Business of Local Energy Symposium, June 4-5, Sacramento
Event Description
The Center for Climate Protection along with the Local Government Commission and the Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition offers the fourth Business of Clean Energy Symposium at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach.
The Symposium will convene government, business, and community leaders to accelerate California’s shift to a clean energy economy. The event will provide a forum to exchange ideas about Community Choice Energy programs and to learn about current energy policy, regulations, markets, and technology.
Clean Power Exchange (CPX) is a place to exchange news, information, and resources about clean energy and the Community Choice movement sweeping across California.
Community Choice energy accelerates the adoption of renewables and strengthens local economies by shifting energy decision-making to local control.
Community Choice fosters Energy Democracy by empowering community stakeholders to weigh in on energy issues that affect their lives. CPX provides the tools needed to make the shift to a local, clean energy economy.
Together, let’s create a future free of fossil fuels, where residents and businesses share the benefits of local, clean energy.
