BuildingEnergy NYC, October 15, New York, NY
Event Description
NESEA is excited to announce the dates for our next BuildingEnergy NYC Conference: October 15, 2026! BuildingEnergy NYC will be back at Convene 237 Park Ave. for an inspiring day of learning and connecting with a wide array of industry leaders and emerging professionals.
Conference Theme: Collaborate, Communicate, Convince
As NYC industry faces urgent decarbonization timelines, rising climate risks, and legislative stalling around climate‑positive design, this year’s BuildingEnergy NYC conference calls on practitioners to work across boundaries, share knowledge with clarity and purpose, and exercise our influence on the many stakeholders who shape our collective future. By leveraging the strength of the NESEA community, its practitioners, educators, advocates, and innovators, we can collaborate more effectively and communicate more powerfully to drive meaningful change.
“Collaborate, Communicate, Convince” reflects the skills and strategies needed to advance high‑performance, low‑carbon, and equitable transformation in the built environment. Today’s challenges demand solutions that include collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and communities; communication that clearly conveys the purpose and impact of BuildingEnergy NYC work; and the ability to convince key stakeholders to invest in scalable, meaningful solutions.
Who Attends
BuildingEnergy NYC attendees are leaders and emerging professionals from across the Northeast, committed to developing a more sustainable, healthy, and resilient built environment. They represent a wide range of industries, backgrounds, and levels of experience.
