Event Description

Join other carpenters, builders, and construction professionals for an evening of networking, presentations, and discussion on building science and construction techniques for high-performance building.

This event is the kick off of a monthly meet-up group which will meet on the third Thursday of each month that's aimed at providing an opportunity for Boston-area carpenters — and those who rely on the skills and knowledge of Boston-area carpenters, such as architects, engineers, and specialty trades -- to get together and have peer-to-peer discussions of building science topics in an informal setting. Each month, we will have short presentations from guest speakers around a chosen topic and then open discussion among the group. Drinks and snacks are provided and attendance is open to all.

August Topic:
Rain Screens and Exterior Water Management featuring guest speakers Steve Baczek and Matt Jancek.
