Bridge the Divide: Envelope and HVAC Design Integration, October 5, 4-7:30 pm, Chicago
Event Description

The design of a building’s exterior envelope affects performance from day one and often remains unaltered throughout the building’s life. When it comes to energy efficiency and occupant comfort, the envelope arguably has the greatest impact. Optimized envelope designs create the opportunity for simplified and more efficient HVAC systems, and balance first costs. During this event, there will be discussions on how to effectively leverage building science throughout the architectural design process to achieve long-lasting, healthy, high-performance buildings.
