Advancing Green Building and Building Science: The Keys to Managing Moisture, November 6th, Brattleboro
Event Description

SEON will be running Peter Yost’s highly acclaimed 2-day course on Tuesday, October 31 and Monday, November 6th, 2017.

This is the same course that Peter ran at GCC a few years ago and received great reviews. SEON’s high-performance builders have said this was the best course they have attended and the return on investment has been considerable. In fact, the initial offering of this course in 2011 lead to the formation of the Building Science Guild.

This two-day training will be APPLIED building science specifically for building professionals, emphasizing real life/job site examples. Addressing concerns of vapour and water management, this course goes beyond energy efficiency to cover all aspects of health and safety in creating a sustainable home environment.

This course uses the web-based GreenBuildingAdvisor.com quite a bit. As part of the course, each participant will receive a 3-month full membership to the web tool, giving full access to all of its content.

Time: Tuesday, October 31st 9:00 am - 5:00pm
Monday, November 6th 8:00 am - 4:00pm

Food: Lunch provided with early morning and mid-afternoon snacks
