Event Description

CCI Presents the “Stepping Up” Speaker Series event – Achieving Green and Healthy Homes: Housing as a Key Social Determinant of Health—How to Fix It!

Through lead, radon, mold or other household health risks – home environment conditions significantly impact occupant health. Children can be disproportionately affected by adverse environmental conditions in their home, leading to increased asthma episodes, lead poisoning – or other negative health impacts. Renters and lower income households often experience higher frequency of these conditions.

Join this provocative panel to learn more about the intrinsic link between dwelling place and individual health and wellbeing. See how practices, policies and persistence can pave the way for lasting improvement.
