2017 Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summit Nov 28- 29, Pasadena
Event Description

The 2017 Summit will mark the eleventh anniversary of the nation’s first statewide green schools event. As progress has been made in building efficiency, more attention has gone into other aspects of school sustainability – student engagement, environmental literacy, connections to jobs in an emerging green economy, garden and lunch programs.

The Summit offers a unique opportunity to engage with leaders and stakeholders from all corners of this “ecosystem.” It’s certain that the 2017 conference will be energized by a heightened sense of purpose, energy and accomplishment.

Registration for the keynote session, Expo and Leadership Awards reception is free. Paid registration to other parts of the conference is required

Speakers at the Summit include leaders and experts from the worlds of policy, technology, design and practice. Learn about effective strategies and innovations from the professionals who have developed and pioneered them. The program includes concurrent sessions on November 28-29, in-depth Pre-Summit training on November 27

On November 28, there will be the annual Leadership Awards reception.
