15th Annual Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo April 21,2016 8:30am-4:30pm

  • 21 Apr 2016
Event Description

The Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo returns in its 15th year to offer knowledge, resources, recognition, and networking opportunities. The effects of global warming on water supply represent one of the greatest challenges for cities in Southern CA. City administrations are seeking ways to meet the demand for water from growing populations while grappling with the challenges of sea level rise, extreme weather events, drought, salination, and reduced food security.

MGBCE is Southern California’s longest-running and largest sustainability and green building event focusing on the unique needs and concerns for municipalities, architects, contractors, and engineers.

Hosted annually by the Los Angeles Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and Southern California Gas Company, this event brings together thought-leaders in the industry with local government agencies, municipal policy makers, policy implementers, leading architects, and building industry professionals to further the development of a sustainable future for Southern California.
