WELL Workshop: Decarbonizing the Planet
Event Description

What is the WELL Building Standard and how can it work towards nurturing health and well-being through sustainability?

The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) recognizes that human health is inextricably linked to both the health of our planet and the strength of socioeconomic institutions, and is thrilled to align WELL with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Mapping WELL v2 features to the 17 SDGs reveals that WELL spaces are not just healthy spaces – they are also inclusive, resilient, sustainable, inspirational spaces with far-reaching impacts.

This course, taught by WELL Faculty member, Mohammad H. Abbasi, and guest speaker, Hala Alfalih, will provide an overview and insight into the system, as well as case studies on pilot projects that will illuminate the benefits of the Standard. Plus, learn how you can become a WELL Accredited Professional.
