Join AIAENY COTE Committee and USGBC NY Upstate on a tour and overview of the Five Rivers Visitor Center.

Designed by Envision Architects, GPI engineers, The Five Rivers Environmental Education Center is the gateway to the 450-acre site owned and operated by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This building integrates many sustainable features such as optimized building solar and view orientation, structural insulated panels, geothermal ground source heating and cooling, photovoltaic panels and solar thermal, vegetated roof, low emitting materials and more. Tour of this LEED Platinum facility will focus on energy efficient design, accessibility, and materials and methods.
