Speed Mentoring – Pivoting into a Sustainable Career - USGBC NCC
Event Description

The USGBC NCC Rising Leaders recognize the importance of mentorship in fostering successful careers of emerging professionals. We want to give our community the opportunity to connect with established leaders in the AEC industry and help bring clarity to the multifaceted path of a sustainability-oriented career. Through this event, we hope to provide a platform for emerging professionals to ask questions, and for established leaders to offer guidance.

Join us for an interactive networking event to connect with industry leaders, We will begin with self-introduction of the mentors, then break out into smaller discussion rooms. Please note, this event is not designed to be a job fair. Please refrain from asking mentors for job opportunities during the event.

Topics of discussion will include, but are not be limited to: career changes both within the same and to different industries, and sustainable improvements within a career, and choosing pathways. Registration will be limited to allow for open discussion from all attendees and to keep breakout room size at a maximum of 6 mentees per 1 mentor. Come join us to ask those burning questions, meet industry peers, and get connected!

What are the requirements to become a mentor? I've passed a background check for different licensing and I'm wondering if that same background check can be used for this type of thing? I've even ran a criminal report on https://backgroundcheckrepair.org/ and I can send this over right away with my certifications.

Thanks
