Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. National Drive Electric Week Event, Sept 8 - 16, Highland Park, IL
Event Description
National Drive Electric Week, September 8-16, 2018, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Are you considering going electric? Come talk to owners who have successfully done so.
Join us for an exhibition of plug in electric vehicles and sustainable automotive transportation. We will also have a focus on green energy to power the cars and local environmental programs.
We will feature all-electric and plug in hybrid vehicles including cars, both high end and affordable, SUVs, and vans.
There will be booths with information on home charging systems, how to charge on the go, local environmental organizations and solar energy companies.
If you are an EV driver, we would invite you to register to show your car and share your story.
