MINDFULNESS: SEEDING CLIMATE INNOVATION & PERSONAL RESILIENCY
Event Description

To jump-start the new year, WCS presents a discussion on how simple, yet profoundly impactful, mindfulness practices can bolster climatetech innovation, equity and personal resiliency. The panel will include Rhonda V. Magee, M.A., J.D., a leading thought and practice innovator in mindfulness-based antiracism and social justice, Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco and author of the award-winning book, The Inner Work of Racial Justice: Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness. Lauren Lambrecht, Sr HR Business Manager at Microsoft, will also join, bringing more than 20 years of experience helping individuals and organizations to reach their greatest potential. Glenna Wiseman, WCS BOD member and leading clean energy marketing and communications consultant, will moderate.

The session will explore how organizations can use mindfulness to improve innovation, how we can use this tool to spur environmental justice, and what simple tools individuals can use to enhance life balance and creativity.
