Event Description

GreenerBuilder is a one-day conference and expo for green building professionals. The annual event unites all of the key players in greening Northern California’s built environment–including architects, engineers and contractors—to discuss industry trends, new research and emerging technologies. GreenerBuilder is where you can get the strategies and tools to help create a more sustainable future in the Pacific Region.

The USGBC Pacific Region represents USGBC communities in California, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. A leader in the green building movement, the USGBC Pacific Region encompasses a total of 23,416 registered & certified projects participating in LEED, more than 1.36 billion+ total square feet of space, and more than 35,000 LEED professionals.

Sustainability is the foundation of GreenerBuilder. The GreenerBuilder sustainability program addresses environmental impact through seven objectives:

  1. Move toward a zero-waste event
  2. Increase stakeholder education and engagement
  3. Improve sustainable sourcing
  4. Improve performance tracking
  5. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions
  6. Positively impact communities
  7. Catalyze the advancement of green building initiatives and sustainable operations within the hospitality industry
