Event Description

Did you know that over 90% of the gas that's used in buildings is methane?

Most homes in California burn natural gas or propane for space heating, water heating, and cooking. These gases—like crude oil or coal—are fossil fuels, which significantly contribute to climate change and local air pollution. And gas in buildings is a real problem for our health, safety and our environment.

The solution is to use efficient electric appliances takes advantage of the increasing solar and wind power in the electrical system. This reduces our dependency on dirty energy sources, all while potentially lowering bills and increasing performance.
