Trash: Achieving Zero Waste for Healthier Communities
Event Description

The Conservation Law Foundation's (CLF)  Zero Waste Project strives to protect New England communities and our environment from the dangers posed by unsustainable waste practices. These dangers include gross overproduction of single-use plastics leading to a global plastic pollution crisis, toxics in our consumer products that are pumped from our landfills into our waterways and into our air from incinerators, as well as greenwashed waste management strategies like so-called “advanced recycling.” Currently, waste management systems in New England rely on landfills and incinerators that threaten our health, our communities, and our environment. CLF’s Zero Waste Project aims to change that.
