Free Webinar: Intro to Residential HVAC Systems, May 29, 3 - 5 pm PT
Event Description
This class is for folks who need to “speak HVAC” but may not have much background with HVAC. This could be homeowners who are shopping for a new system, utility employees dealing with HVAC programs, people who are brand new to the HVAC industry or HERS testing, general contractors who need to be able to talk to HVAC contracts, etc. Basically, people who need to work around HVAC systems, but do not necessarily work on them. We will cover the basics, such as types of systems, parts of systems, how systems are designed, how systems are tested, etc. It will even cover supply register types. Extra time will be spent on heat pumps. Based on the book, “HVAC 1.0 – Introduction to Residential HVAC Systems” by Russell King, ME, the presenter.
