Event Description

An overview of the reasons and options for using low carbon, plant-based insulation products and materials. This presentation will help architects, designers, builders and developers understand the positive impacts of using these instead of petrochemical based or highly manufactured materials. Knowledge of basic code requirements for residential construction will be helpful, particularly around energy codes.

    • Lindsey Love, founder of Regenerative Building Solutions, has worked in the field of design and construction for 25 years. She has served in many roles, worked on residential, institutional and civic projects, and worked with conventional as well as natural, raw materials. Her Passive House background as co-founder of Love | Schack Architecture provides her with building science knowledge. Her construction and repair work facilitates a very real understanding of what works in the harsh, cold climate and high cost markets of the Rocky Mountain Region. Lindsey enjoys teaching and removing barriers to implementation of sustainable, humane design.
