Free CE Webinar: Climate Adaptation Tech in a Tube: Enabling Wind/Seismic Resistant Homes, April 17
Event Description

During this course, we will discuss novel technology behind adhesives and sealants used in light-frame wood construction that add to passive house planning and resiliency against violent wind weather events forecasted to worsen shortly, as well as seismic activity.

Lessons Learned

Understand the urgency of deploying novel technology behind adhesives and sealants used in light-frame wood construction to increase passive house planning and resiliency against seismic and violent wind weather events that are forecasted to worsen shortly, with the focus on improving building resilience.

Analyze the non-toxic and high-performing yet affordable climate adaptation technology and its potential impact on the safety of the built environment, particularly during earthquakes and high-wind events, increasing in number and intensity.

Introduce the applicability of this novel product to passive house projects and pre-fab manufacturing, and articulate the potential community welfare gains that could result from its deployment.

Articulate the importance of Brainstorming and identifying potential partnerships to enhance the survivability of practitioners' future projects and to create a safer and more resilient built environment in regions vulnerable to seismic and violent-wind events.

Pivoting my commitment from career defense intelligence and foreign policy efforts to global decarbonization, I look to optimize policy, stakeholder engagement, and business development to deploy climate solutions with the most aggressive carbon sinks. To get to mid-century carbon-neutrality, all viable means must be on the table, urgently developed and incorporated at-scale, with social equity its steady compass. U.S. climate technology, including adaptation, needs to be transferred wherever needed.
