A Case Study: Exploring the Interrelationship between Building Enclosure Design, Decarbonization, & Resilience at a Building and Neighborhood Scale, Online, September 19
Event Description

The Case Study reviews a hypothetical existing residential neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI (climate zone 5A). It examines how the enclosure performance level (existing, code-compliant, or Phius-compliant) impacts the building load for typical operation, critical operation, and flexible operation. And beyond this, it explores the relationship between those building loads and meeting other project goals such as resilience and decarbonization through on-site renewable energy generation and storage
