ZNE Technical Training for School & Building Industry Professionals
November 1, 10 am - 4 pm

This day-long technical workshop will present real-world examples of technology applications and design practices that have resulted in superior energy use through whole-building retrofits in schools to achieve zero net energy (ZNE) performance. Attendees will also learn about the operational practices necessary to retain low-energy benefits including substantial savings on monthly energy expenses. The interactive program will share details on the potential for Prop 39 funds to help finance ZNE school retrofits and build knowledge on the strategies for communication, planning, design and financing projects. The event will be held as a pre-summit workshop to the Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summit.
