Event Description

This class introduces designers, specifiers, building contractors, and homeowners to considerations for lighting design and selection of lighting products in residences. Award-winning lighting designer David W Patton and lighting expert Clifton Lemon will show how to assess a space's needs and potential by walking participants through the steps in creating a lighting design with an energy-efficient, code compliant solution in mind. They'll review basic lighting fundamentals terminology and typical product features which help when specifying fixtures and creating lighting layouts. This class concentrates on residential lighting. The next class in this series will focus on residential lighting controls.
