The SEED Summit for Social Enterprise, "Growing Businesses with Impact" - April 29 and 30

  • 29 Apr 2016
Event Description

Jointly hosted by Social Enterprise Greenhouse and Brown University, The SEEED Summit is a leading national conference for social entrepreneurs, impact investors and community leaders committed to social innovation. We hope you’ll be among the 600+ thought leaders who will converge in Providence, RI April 29th and 30th, 2016.

This year’s conference theme is Growing Businesses with Impact. We will explore the unique challenges facing a social enterprise at three stages of growth, with half day modules devoted to launching, growing and transforming.

OK, this isn't a focused green building event per se, but green building and social enterprise and healthy sustainable communities go together pretty well. As the conference materials recognize, "Social enterprises drive social impact and economic development. They also power resilient communities, providing connections between citizens, innovative solutions to tough problems, jobs, and vitality where it’s needed most." Social enterprises will act as a driving force as we transition to a more sustainable and circular economy.

And, Rate It Green will be there!
