USGBC-LA's Thought Leadership Series, Reducing California's Fire Risk
Event Description

USGBC-LA is hosting this event to bring together the sustainability, green building, and fire prevention communities to jointly address wildfire resilience across California. The event will begin with virtual tours and expert interviews provided by local green building chapters in Northern and Southern California, lead to multiple keynotes from community leaders, feature panels from industry experts addressing the issues from a community and building level, and then conclude with networking and meeting space for fire safe councils throughout the state. The mini-conference aims to convene fire scientists, firefighters and fire safe councils, forest management professionals, cultural burning and environmental advocates, and more.
