Healthy Spaces for All, October 16, Pittsburgh, PA

To conclude Green Building Alliance's series on Social Equity and Health, you can explore the challenges that some populations – namely K-12 schools and low-income households – face in achieving healthy indoor environmental quality and identify some core issues and solutions. At this event, you will explore core issues relating to healthy, equitable buildings and communities, and share enabling policies and standards to help ensure everyone has access to healthy environments. 

Learning Objectives: 

• Participants will identify how their work relates to both public health and social equity. 
• Participants will identify common issues in K-12 schools and low-income households that contribute to health issues. 
• Participants will explore how healthier, more efficient homes and schools can lift up our most vulnerable populations. 
• Participants will discuss possible tools, solutions, and frameworks for creating healthy spaces for everyone.
