Event Description

Join the Cascadia Green Building Coalition in 2019 in crafting net positive carbon + energy solutions, the social impact they have, and policies to support them underway here in our bioregion. Together, we’ll move beyond the problems we face to leading truly transformational change.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand the definition of embodied carbon as applied to ILFI’s Zero Carbon
  • Learn about the most current tools and methods to calculate the embodied carbon of materials and buildings.
  • Explore several firms' commitment as case-studies for the implementation of Zero Carbon
  • Discover how supply chains can be leveraged to reduce embodied carbon, on a large, multi-asset scale.
