Event Description

School House Walks: Green Apple Day of service
USGBC Colorado
(Several Locations)

Saturday, September 24, 2016 - 10am-12 pm

Do you ever pass a school in your community and wonder what it looks like inside? If that school has a sustainability policy or attribute that you don't know about? The Colorado Green Schools Initiative wants to change that! In conjunction with Green Apple Day of Service, an annual service event focused on schools celebrated around the world, the GSI is getting the community inside our schools to hear the latest updates.

Join USGBC Colorado and the local community for a "School House Walk" - a tour of a school implementing sustainable initiatives. There will be two tours, one at 10 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. Please register so we can plan for the correct number of people.

Register for each tour:

Red Hawk Elementary School in Erie
Columbine Elementary School in Boulder
Falcon Bluffs Middle School in Littleton
George E Eiber Elementary School in Lakewood
Eagle Crest Elementary in Longmont
