How Being a Greener Company is Good for Business
Event Description

Whether you’re an ardent environmentalist or just take an interest in current affairs no-one can deny that “green” is back on the agenda – big time.

Cornwall Labour Party is pleased to host this conference so that local businesses, small and large, can find out how going green can enhance their business – in terms of profitability as well as being socially conscientious.

  • Speakers / Presenters
    • Ryan Gray, Operations Director of Proud To Be Green, a UK based company who guide businesses through the process of developing a green strategy through implementation to accreditation. Their aim is to bring about the mass greening-up of the UK business community – something which the Labour Party can wholeheartedly endorse.

Ryan explains the process of becoming an accredited green business and will take questions after his presentation.

Kim Conchie, CEO of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. Kim has developed the Chamber into an organisation that is firmly at the forefront of Cornwall's business community.

The event is chaired by Gareth Looker, Labour Party business liaison officer for Cornwall.
