Every organization and everyone can submit to Rate It Green's green building calendar! Simply click register, verify your email address, and create a username and password. You can then decide if you'd like to engage more fully as a community member, but you'll be able to post events.
Please make sure to be respectful of the organizations and companies, and other Rate It Green members that make up our community. We welcome praise and advice and even criticism but all posted content and ratings should be constructive in nature. For guidance on what constitutes suitable content on the Rate It Green site, please refer to the User Agreement and Site Rules.
The opinions, comments, ratings and all content posted by member on the Rate It Green website are the comments and opinions of the individual members who posts them only and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies or policies of Rate It Green. Rate It Green Team Members will monitor posted content for unsuitable content, but we also ask for the participation of community members in helping to keep the site a comfortable and open public forum of ideas. Join the Illinois Green Alliance for a stimulating discussion on heat pumps. There are several types of heat pumps currently on the market and it is important to know how they are both similar and how they differ.
This webinar will cover 4 separate types of heat pumps including: air-to-air, air-to-water, geothermal and natural gas. Experts will discuss how they operate, what types of applications they are suited for and the efficiency we can expect from these units. Heat pumps provide an option for people looking to install energy efficient cooling and heating equipment (and, as the subject of a possible future webinar, water heating), and this webinar can be an entry point into learning about them.
