Energy Efficient Lighting
Event Description

Join the Building Energy Exchange for Designing with Light (Efficiently), a discussion on the incorporation of efficient industrial lighting design into architecture.

The event will begin with a presentation by lighting designer Kenzan Tsutakawa-Chinn, of Studio 1Thousand, a company focused on LED art and technology. Perhaps best known for its large scale, architectural illumination installations, Studio 1Thousand has produced work for the Museum of the City of New York, Perot Family Headquarters, L&C Tower Nashville, the University of Chicago, and the Portland Winter Light Festival. One of their works is also featured at the Building Energy Exchange.

Following the presentation will be a moderated discussion with Stephen Cassell of Architecture Research Office, who worked with Studio 1Thousand on a memorial wall for Congregation Beit Simchat Torah.
