BEEx Forum: Better Steam Heat- Upgrading Steam Heating (12/13 @ 9AM/31 Chambers St, NYC)

  • 13 Dec 2016
Event Description

Join BEEx and the NYC Retrofit Accelerator for a presentation of steam heating system upgrades that fix under- and over-heating problems, quiet clanging pipes, and reduce operating and maintenance costs. The findings from two new case studies on successful multifamily steam heating upgrades will be presented, followed by a moderated discussion with the project teams.

Panelists will discuss the process and challenges of completing steam system upgrades, including how they selected the right measures for their buildings, how they engaged residents about in-unit work, and what the results have been since project completion.

Efficiency Advisors from the New York City Retrofit Accelerator will also be on hand to discuss free resources that are available to help guide building owners and operators through every step needed to successfully complete steam heating system upgrades.

This event will be available for 1.5 AIA CEUs
