Will technology save us? Latest tech solutions in healthy, smart, and high performing buildings

Sponsored by SDG&E Energy Innovation Center
Session Overview: This session will be a fast-paced presentation of case studies followed by a panel discussion presenting the latest technologies that advance energy and water efficiency in high performing buildings. Additionally, this session will showcase how to use technology and data to make buildings more efficient and smarter plus show how data reporting (i.e. GRI, GRESB, etc.) can be used to relay the sustainability message to a larger audience.

Key learning objectives are:

What new technologies are coming onto the market to help us meet energy and water efficiency goals?
How do these new technologies speak to one another and who controls them?
Can new technology lead to healthier and smarter buildings for occupants?
How do we engage a larger audience through education that may not understand energy and water efficiency terminology?
This class is eligible for continuing education units from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
