LEED Project Showcase: Educational Institutions in the South
Event Description

Across the U.S. South, institutions of learning are leading the way in sustainability through their campuses and curriculum. This rapid fire, digital showcase features an interior residence hall renovation, academic classroom, health & life sciences facility, and a business school focused on operational performance. Having used LEED v4 or 4.1 systems for New Construction, Commercial Interiors or Operations + Maintenance, each project demonstrates what is possible when higher education institutions apply green building principles across project types and phases. Project highlights and strategies to solve project goals and challenges for health, energy, and environmental goals in higher education.
