Event Description

In order to create sustainable spaces and places, we need to resolve two challenges. On the one hand, we have to mitigate the negative impact of our past and current material and product choices, through sustainable manufacturing, transparency and circular strategies, and waste management. Meanwhile we are also developing and testing new strategies—this includes advances in building materials and technologies like CLT or rammed earth, or alternatives to plastics. How can we balance both these aspects and drive innovation in sustainable architecture and design?
